"Overall, Panzers is one of the best RTS games I’ve played in the last ten years, although I’ll put in the disclaimer that I really, really hate base building. I also enjoy its attempts to be mostly historically accurate. While some of the large battles are represented, I wish my role in them wasn’t a bit part. However, if you’re as much of a fan of old-school wargaming as I am, you’ll thoroughly enjoy Codename Panzers: Phase One. I can’t wait to see what Phase Two has in store for us."
We are thrilled that the frantically searched for lost World War II treasure trove, including a brand-new Alienware Area 51m laptop, co-branded for Codename: Panzers, along with a number of other hot prizes, has been found, at Fort Mason, California, located near San Francisco, California.

"Codename Panzers is brought to us by the same company that has made games like Blitzkrieg and Blitzkrieg: Burning Horizons and has an excellent reputation in the military RTS arena. Panzers has continued that tradition and brings to the WWII gamer a great introductory game to get his/her feet wet. The game is a blast to play, easy to learn and use and a great collection of varying kinds of missions and scenarios. I highly recommend it to beginngers and experts alike (especially to beginners)."
In his spare time Achim Heidelauf, producer of Codename: Panzers, created a huge bonus map for the community. CDV supports his engagement by hosting the map.
The map contains 9 mission goals, 9 cutscenes and 2 secrets. With a size of 22MB the map assures at least 3 hours of fun with some crazy surprises and sounds!!
The map can be found in the download-section of the official Codename: Panzers website.
